Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide quality care and daily support for a client in Lorton, Virginia. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home. The caregiver will work the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and play an important role in supporting the client’s daily routine.
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide quality care and daily support for a client in Lorton, Virginia. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home. The caregiver will work the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and play an important role in supporting the client’s daily routine.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation or activities
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Monitor the client’s condition and report any changes
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to arrive on time for scheduled shift
- Background check may be required
