Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shift (7:00 am-7:30 pm or 7:00 pm-7:30 am)

Patient Centered Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry team. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and values delivering exceptional care to patients with diverse medical conditions.

Position Overview:

The Med-Surg/Telemetry RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This includes managing a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions while monitoring patients requiring cardiac telemetry. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and play a critical role in improving health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct ongoing assessments and deliver individualized nursing care to patients in both med-surg and telemetry units.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Serve as a role model for professionalism and compassionate care in every interaction.

Qualifications:

Valid DC RN license required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical and/or telemetry setting preferred.
Demonstrated ability to maintain employment with consistency and reliability over time.
