Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shift (7:00 am-7:30 pm or 7:00 pm-7:30 am)

Patient Centered Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry team. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and values delivering exceptional care to patients with diverse medical conditions.

Position Overview:

The Med-Surg/Telemetry RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This includes managing a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions while monitoring patients requiring cardiac telemetry. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and play a critical role in improving health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing assessments and deliver individualized nursing care to patients in both med-surg and telemetry units.

  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

  • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care.

  • Serve as a role model for professionalism and compassionate care in every interaction.

Qualifications:

  • Valid DC RN license required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

  • BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical and/or telemetry setting preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain employment with consistency and reliability over time.
