We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Therapist specializing in play therapy to join our team in a community-based setting in Washington, DC. This part-time role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by helping children address emotional and behavioral challenges through therapeutic play.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide play therapy to children to address emotional, developmental, and behavioral concerns.
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with families to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based play therapy techniques to help children process emotions and build coping skills.
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, providing guidance and support to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for children and their families.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Active licensure in Washington, DC (LPC, LGPC, LGSW, or LICSW.
- Specialized training and experience in play therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and their families in a community setting.
Schedule:
- Part-time only, with flexible hours during office hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
