About the Role

As cyber threats continue to evolve, Computer Network Defense Analysts (CNDAs) are on the frontlines, protecting our nation’s most critical information. Our team is seeking skilled CNDAs to support core missions within the Intelligence Community (IC). You'll play a pivotal role in cyber network operations, helping to secure and sustain key missions against adversarial threats.

What You’ll Do

As a CNDA, you’ll:

  • Analyze data from various sources (intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network logs) to identify and defend against cyber threats.
  • Help strengthen network defenses by developing mitigation strategies against potential attacks on infrastructure.
  • Work across a variety of platforms, from traditional networks to cloud, wireless, and IoT technologies.
  • Collaborate with government, military, and contractor teams to share intelligence and insights.
  • Use your problem-solving skills to assess vulnerabilities, create hypotheses, and develop new analysis techniques.
  • Document and share findings, including new methodologies you develop, with teammates and stakeholders.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering).
  • Military training (e.g., JCAC, UCT, NWBC/INWT, or Cyber Defense Operations) will be considered equivalent to educational experience.
  • Experience in network/system administration, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, or computer forensics is required.
Experience Levels:

  • Level 1: 2 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4 years with an associate degree.
  • Level 2: 2 years of experience with a PhD, or 5 years with a bachelor’s degree, or 7 years with an associate degree.
  • Level 3: 4 years of experience with a PhD, or 8 years with a bachelor’s degree, or 10 years with an associate degree.
  • Level 4: 7 years of experience with a PhD, or 11 years with a bachelor’s degree, or 13 years with an associate degree.
Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph is required.
