We are seeking a compassionate Companion Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will support an elderly client who is hard of hearing and uses a walker. The client enjoys reading and spending time outdoors on pleasant days. The family is home most of the time, but you will play a key role in enhancing the client's daily life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation for breakfast and lunch, helping with mobility, and providing incontinence care if needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation
Assist with personal hygiene, including incontinence care as needed
Help with meal preparation for breakfast and lunch
Support mobility and safe use of the walker
Accompany the client during outdoor activities, such as sitting outside
Monitor the client’s well-being and report any changes to the family

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred
First aid and CPR certification
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
Excellent communication skills, especially with elderly clients
Patience and understanding with clients who have hearing difficulties
Compassionate, respectful, and ethical demeanor

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and enjoys providing care in a supportive family environment.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
