We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team in Washington, D.C.
Job Description: As a Pediatric Home Health Aide (HHA) at Patient Centered Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living activities and personal care needs of our young clients. You will work closely with our pediatric nursing team to ensure the highest standard of care and contribute to the overall well-being and development of our pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting for pediatric clients
- Assist with mobility and transfer needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines
- Monitor and record vital signs as instructed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to children and their families
- Engage in age-appropriate activities to stimulate development
- Follow care plans and report any changes in the child's condition to the nursing team
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in Washington, D.C.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric home health care or a related field
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
